Amaranth Games: QA Tester, as-needed as new games come out, since 2010
Amaranth Games is a small independent game company, releasing mainly casual role-playing games, seek-and-find games, and puzzle games. I’ve participated in testing Aveyond 3: The Darkthrop Prophecy, Aveyond 4: Shadow of the Mist, A Gypsy’s Tale, and Curse at Twilight: Thief of Souls. Costuming “Held Together by Tape and Prayers” is a prop-making workshop I present at anime and video game conventions. I’ve presented at two of the largest such conventions in New England. Over 50 people attended the workshop at Anime Boston to hear me speak about my propmaking techniques and try them out. This interest in costuming has served me well as a hobby and in stage crew, and has honed my patience, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Stage Crew I was the stage manager and production assistant for The Gunnery’s theater department for four years. This position involved managing the rest of the stage crew, helping design and build sets, design and make costumes, assist with stage makeup, keep the props and costumes neat, and make sure everything ran smoothly during performances. |
